School districts across the state are facing a difficult decision: begin the year face-to-face or online? Districts are starting to release their plans, and Wednesday night, Grand Blanc’s School Board approved its return to school plan unanimously.
The school year has already begun for some students, while many others will soon be starting. Many school districts have pushed back their start dates out of concerns for COVID-19, staffing issues and changes to online/hybrid/in person learning models.
The Saginaw Township Community Schools is finalizing their plans for the upcoming school year. The plan postpones face-to-face learning by one month, and the board made the decision on Monday night with staff and student safety in mind.
